Did VP Mike Pence betray President Trump?

Multiple sources say that a perceived betrayal by Mike Pence to President Trump was indeed evident after Mike Pence reportedly refused to do his part in Capitol Hill Wednesday afternoon, which was to bring attention to the voter fraud investigation in the 2020 Presidential election. This could’ve potentially overturned the election results, giving more time to investigate the Presidential election.

“The thing he was most upset about and couldn’t get over all day was the Pence betrayal,” a former senior administration official briefed on the president’s private conversations. President Trump tweeted the following on Wednesday afternoon, just minutes after Mike Pence left Capitol Hill.

“Mike Pence didn’t have the courage to do what should have been done to protect our Country and our Constitution, giving States a chance to certify a corrected set of facts, not the fraudulent or inaccurate ones which they were asked to previously certify. USA demands the truth!

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 6, 2021.

The tweet has been deleted, but it is obvious that there is some tension taking place between both President Trump, and VP Pence. Pence reportedly sent a letter to the 535 senators, and representatives on Capitol Hill ahead of his presiding over the Joint Session that will certify Joe Biden’s victory. Mike Pence refused to move forward with the plan to continue the voter fraud investigation, and publicly defied President Trump’s demand to put a stop to the Biden administration. The Electoral votes were not to be counted until the voter fraud investigation was closed according to Trump. The shocking last minute decision of VP Mike Pence haulted President Trump’s efforts for a congressional overthrow of the results.
